Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Depart from Nairobi and transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve. As you travel through the Great Rift Valley, enjoy the changing landscape and keep an eye out for wildlife along the way. The Mara — meaning "spotted" in the Maasai language, named for the many short bushy trees that dot the landscape — is a large national reserve contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the vast open plains. Witness the Mara's exceptional populations of big cats and the Big Five. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your lodge as the sounds of the African bush surround you.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Full Day Game Drive

Rise early for a sunrise game drive with packed lunch boxes. Spend the full day exploring the Masai Mara — a classic safari destination offering the Big Five (rhino rare), an abundance of big cats including lion, leopard and cheetah, and the spectacular wildebeest migration. The reserve is approximately a third of the size of the Serengeti National Park, making it a more manageable and highly rewarding area for game viewing, and one of Africa's best wildlife destinations year-round.

Head out for an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge in the evening. Gather around the campfire and share stories of the day's incredible wildlife sightings before heading to bed.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Rise early for a final morning game drive across the Mara, making the most of the golden morning light when animals are at their most active. After your morning drive, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before checking out at 10:00 AM. Begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
