SAFARI ITINERARY
Journey into Kenya's rugged north on this unique 3-day Samburu safari. Samburu National Reserve is one of Kenya's most spectacular and remote wildlife destinations, located along the Ewaso Nyiro River. It is celebrated for its exclusive "Samburu Special Five" — rare species found nowhere else in Kenya: the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich.
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive north to Samburu National Reserve. The journey takes you through dramatic landscapes as you head into Kenya's arid north. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and enjoy lunch. Head out for an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where large herds of elephant, buffalo, crocodile, leopard, lion, and the famous Samburu Special Five can be found. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu – Full Day Game Drive
Spend a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with packed lunch boxes. Head out for morning and afternoon game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River — a lifeline for wildlife in this semi-arid landscape. Keep a keen eye out for the reserve's unique species: the long-necked gerenuk standing on its hind legs to feed, the brilliantly patterned reticulated giraffe, the rare Grevy's zebra, and the stately Beisa oryx. Lion and leopard are also frequently spotted here. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Samburu – Nairobi
