SAFARI ITINERARY
Discover the wild southern circuit of Kenya on this spectacular 6-day safari. Starting with the elephant paradise of Amboseli beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, you will journey through the dramatic lava fields of Tsavo West and the vast red-earthed plains of Tsavo East — one of Africa's oldest and largest national parks — home to enormous herds of red-dusted elephants and the legendary man-eating lions.
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Your tour guide picks you up early from your hotel with packed lunch boxes ready for the journey to Amboseli. The park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and its open plains. Arrive in time for lunch, check in to your camp, have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive at the park. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli – Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast at the lodge with packed lunch boxes, your tour guide takes you for a full day in the park searching for its popular residents: the well-known predators, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, and the famous large elephant bulls — all with a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route out of Amboseli as your adventure continues through dry shrubland. Cross the great lava flow of Mount Kilimanjaro (now a dormant volcano) and the Chyulu Hills to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive and visit the Rhino Sanctuary — a safe haven for the area's black rhino population. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
Rise early for a morning game drive in Tsavo West before returning to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, leave Tsavo West for Tsavo East, driving en route for wildlife sightings along the way. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Tsavo East National Park — renowned for its large numbers of elephants (often seen dusted in the characteristic red soil) and the famous man-eating lions of historical legend. Drive via Aruba Dam, where great concentrations of wildlife gather. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Tsavo East – Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast with packed lunch boxes, spend the day exploring Tsavo East National Park — one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya at 13,747 square kilometres. Situated in a semi-arid area, it opened in April 1948 near the town of Voi in Taita-Taveta County. Named for the Tsavo River, which flows west to east through the park, it borders the Chyulu Hills National Park and the Mkomazi Game Reserve in Tanzania. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Tsavo East – Nairobi
