Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

Depart Nairobi and drive to Lake Naivasha, where you will visit either Hell's Gate National Park or Crescent Island. Hell's Gate National Park lies south of Lake Naivasha and is named after a narrow break in the cliffs, once a tributary of a prehistoric lake. Established in 1984, it is known for its wide variety of wildlife, dramatic scenery including Fischer's Tower and Central Tower columns, Hell's Gate Gorge, and five geothermal power stations at Olkaria. The park also features a Maasai Cultural Center.

Alternatively, visit Crescent Island — a private island on Lake Naivasha that rose to fame after the 1985 movie "Out of Africa." Established in 1988, it is home to zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, elands, and many bird species. Since there are no predators on the island, guests can walk freely among the animals. Activities include guided nature walks, picnicking, biking, horseback riding, and bird watching. In the evening, drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Naivasha – Masai Mara

After breakfast at your lodge, transfer from Naivasha to Masai Mara with packed lunch. Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a short evening game drive before dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Full Day Game Drive

After breakfast, spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara with packed lunch boxes. The reserve offers a classic safari experience with the Big Five (rhino rare), many big cats, and the wildebeest migration. Head out for both morning and afternoon game drives, returning to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Today you will be taken on two game drives — one in the morning from 6:15 AM to 9:00 AM, before breakfast, and the other in the late afternoon from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, game drive timings are flexible — convenient if travelling with children or on a honeymoon. You may also choose a full day game drive with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Arrive in the late evening for dinner and overnight.
