ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK DAY TOUR

1-DAY FLEXIBLE SAFARI ITINERARY

Arusha National Park offers a deeply flexible safari experience, packed into a single unforgettable day. Located just a short drive from Arusha or Moshi, this hidden gem allows you to seamlessly blend classic vehicle game drives with thrilling walking safaris and serene lake canoeing, making it the perfect quick getaway for wildlife lovers.

Day 1: Arusha / Moshi to Arusha National Park & Return

After breakfast, you'll depart from your Arusha or Moshi accommodations and drive directly to the park. Your visit to Arusha National Park is highly flexible, as you'll have three unique choices as to how you'd like to experience the wilderness:

🚗 Game Drive

Embark on a half-day or full-day game drive. Pass iconic park landmarks such as the Momella Lakes and the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, often beautifully referred to as 'Little Ngorongoro'.

🛶 Canoe Safari

Available at an extra cost. Trade the safari car for a steady canoe as you glide out on the scenic Momella Lakes to observe bushbuck, giraffes, hippos, and buffaloes from the water.

🥾 Walking Safari

Stretch your legs with an escorted walking safari. Explore endless forest acres home to black and white colobus monkeys, zebras, and over 400 bird species like the Crowned Eagle.

You can combine the above three options as you please (note that canoeing and walking safaris attract an additional park fee). You'll return to Arusha in the late afternoon with a head full of memories and a camera full of unforgettable photos.
